Cornelia Arts Building March 1 Open Studios

Art reminds you that you have a soul – Open yourself to art at the Cornelia Arts Building March 1 Open Studios
Stella Adler wrote “Life beats down and crushes the soul, and art reminds you that you have one.”  On Friday March 1, 2019, from 6 to 10 pm, The Cornelia Art Building, located at 1800 West Cornelia, invites the public to nourish their souls with original art.
Bees - Jason Messinger
Visit one of the largest all-artist buildings on Chicago’s Northside, and experience the wonder of two-full floors of working art studios. See new work by artist Jason Messinger, and meet the building’s other talented artists and artisans in person, explore their art practices up close, and enjoy the opportunity to purchase artwork and hand-made crafts directly from the people who made them.

Over fifty local artists and artisans work here, including sculptors, painters, photographers, ceramic artists, print-makers, jewelry designers, textile artisans, and much more.
