On Friday October 4, 2019, from 6 to 10 pm, artists of The Cornelia Art Building, located at 1800 West Cornelia Ave. in Chicago, invite the public to see their artwork in their working art studio spaces.

Visit one of the largest all-artist buildings on Chicago’s Northside, and experience the wonder of two-full floors of working artist studios.

With one-of-a-kind hand-made artwork and gifts by both the building artists and their special guest lobby artists Mary Fedorowski and Tara Keating, the event offers something for the whole family to enjoy.

Join Jason Messinger for a glass of white sangria in studio #204, where he offers special studio prices on his signature tile murals, ceramic sculptures, large table-top size bowls and vases, and his imaginary planet globes, original drawings and paintings on paper, and a new assortment of affordably-priced prints on aluminum.

For thirty-three years this artist incubator space has provided Chicago artists with professional studio spaces to pursue their passion.

Established in 1986 in a former ice-house, the Cornelia Arts Building is located at 1800 West Cornelia, at the border of three distinct Chicago Neighborhoods; Lakeview, Roscoe Village, and North Center.

Located close to public transportation and only two blocks south of the Addison Brown Line CTA stop, the building also has free parking available in parking lot out front, and on neighborhood streets nearby. Event is free and open to the public.
