Cornelia Arts Building October Open Studios Turns A New Leaf

With the completion of a multi-years long remodel, the 38 year old Cornelia Arts Building, at 1800 West Cornelia Avenue, Chicago, Illinois, opens its doors to the public on Friday October 18, from 6 - 10 pm, and on Saturday October 19, from 11 am - 3 pm
Visitors can explore two full-floors of working art studios at one of the largest artist studio buildings on Chicago’s North side, and meet many of the talented artists and artisans in person, experience their art practices up close, and even purchase art and crafts directly from their makers.
Held only four times a year, the open studios events showcase a fresh mix of artists each time, with over thirty-eight artists participating in October. Over ninety local artists and artisans work in the building, including painters, sculptors, photographers, ceramic artists, print-makers, jewelers, designers, and much more.
